Meet Sam Smith
With a background in Rugby and Muay Thai, Sam found Crossfit whilst looking to improve his conditioning and strength for sports. Since then he has involved himself with every specific discipline of within functional fitness including Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Rowing. He is a qualified British Weightlifting Level 2 Instructor, Crossfit Gymnastics, and Crossfit Level 1 Trainer. Sam always looks to emphasise quality movement and is a pedant for technique in the disciplines of weightlifting and gymnastics – there is little reason why advanced fitness performance and health/wellness cannot coexist.

Philosophy
Big Red Training works out of Norfolk, England, providing online and in-person coaching. Coach Sam has produced personal bests and winning results for athletes spanning 3 continents. BRT believes that mastery is led by education and consistency, spotlighting quality and efficiency in one’s exercise regime. Clients will be supported through the technical, mental, and physical challenges whether pursuing functional fitness, weightlifting, bodybuilding, or gymnastics. There are few things more exciting than discovering what your body is capable of, and Big Red Training is your foundation for doing so.
